President Harry S. Trumman's Remarks at the Wright Memorial Dinner of the Aero Club of Washington
December 17th, 1952
President Truman spoke prior to the awarding of the Brewer Trophy to Civil Air Patrol. Maj. Gen. Lucas V. Beau, commander
of the Civil Air Patrol, accepted the Brewer Trophy. Also awarded this night was the Wright Memorial Trophy to Lt. Gen. James
H. Doolittle and the Collier Trophy to John Stack, assistant director of the Langley Aeronautical Laboratory.
