1. ADVOCACY FOR THE TEACHING / LEARNING COMMUNITY
A strong unified voice to shape aviation education policy and speak out for aviation education at all levels throughout the
United States, US Territories and the World.
We will support the aims and goals of our key partners – the National Aeronautic Association and the Smithsonian’s
National Air & Space Museum. Our mission statement affirms this.

Programs and information for educators, school administrators, students and teachers, as well as parents and youth leaders.
4. BTAEA NEWSLETTER
Through both our website and direct mailings, BTAEA will keep you informed of hot issues, plus practical ways to share ideas
to increase the awareness of aviation education.
5. NETWORKING & SHARING IDEAS
A central location to easily contact the BTAEA Board of Directors at www.brewertrophy.org, allowing us to create a "Teacher's
Lounge" web page that provides a source of sharing and links to important events happening in the world of aviation education.
Focusing attention on outstanding aviation education leaders and organizations through the annual award of the Brewer Trophy,
the nation’s highest award in aerospace and aviation education. The trophy is displayed in the National Air and Space

7. STUDENT SERVICES
A reduced membership fee in the Brewer Trophy Aviation Education Association. As our sponsorship and membership base builds,
student scholarship opportunities will become available.
8. EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
The BTAEA is currently in the formulation stages of a major program to benefit both students and educators across the country.
When the project is completed, members will get discounts on the latest books and resources selected by aviation education
proponents for aviation education proponents.
9. A VOICE IN WASHINGTON
With our strong government, educational and corporate affiliations, such as the National Aeronautic Association, the Smithsonian
Institution, the University Aviation Association and the National Business Aircraft Association, we will keep you informed
of federal developments affecting aviation education that can help you make a difference for the children in your school.
10. WORKING FOR YOU
The Brewer Trophy Aviation Education Association is a 501(c) 3 [APPLIED FOR WITH IRS] non-profit organization. None of our
members is on a salary. We are wholly dedicated to the 3+million educators and 100+ million students across the 50 states
and Territories. Every dollar that comes into the Association is returned to the education community through programs aimed
at rekindling the awareness between the arts, history, math and science and the aviation education curriculum. The Brewer
Family has had a direct influence on these programs since well before 1940, and we are dedicated to continuing the tradition
for centuries to come.
